A ship's chandlers service is operated, that arranges for fresh supplies to be delivered to the ship at their convenience. Products ranging from the freshest fruits and vegetables, to dairy products, electrical appliances, etc., can be ordered before the arrival of the ship or while in port and will be delivered to the ship.
The agency is supported by the service of Blandy Travel Agency, which has offices in central Funchal and which specializes in the operation of shore excursions and ground arrangements for cruising vessels, and tour operators.

Box Lines has a fleet of three ships which enable the transit time from Leixões to Lisbon in less than half a day, from Lisbon to Madeira in less than a day and a half, and from Lisbon to Ponta Delgada in little over two days.
Box Lines operates a fleet of various types of containers, from the traditional Dry-Box of 20 and 40´ up to the special containers and reefers. Besides containers, Box Lines' ships transport cars, trucks, machines and other types of non-container cargo. |
