Established in 1862, Blandy Shipping is Madeira’s leading shipping agent, representing many of the major International Cruise Companies and offering a wide variety of shipping services. The agency represents  Maersk Portugal, for all port and transportation logistics.

Due to its geographical position in the Atlantic, the island is an important port of call on the repositioning of many of the mega-yachts from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and vice-versa. Blandy Shipping is a preferred agent and is renowned for its high level of service and 24 hour support during these calls.

The agency is a Lloyd’s Agent since 1878 and they are also the P&I Club correspondents and agents for the principal international underwriting institutes.
